Is-sinjal għal INSETT ITIR isir minn id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ F bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares laġenba u bl-id mgħollija ’l fuq mir-ras. L-id iddur dawra żgħira fl-istess post.

Is-sinjal għal INSETT ITIR tintuża bħala l-ewwel parti tas-sinjal ta’ DUBBIENA, NAĦLA, NEMUSA u ŻUNŻANA.

Is-sinjal għal ŻGĦIR isir b’id waħda u bis-saba’ l-kbir qrib tal-werrej u jintuża wara s-sinjal għal INSETT ITIR. Is-sinjal għal KBIR, magħmul b’id waħda forma ta’ Ċ miftuħa skond id-daqs mixtieq, jintuża wara s-sinjal għal INSETT ITIR.

Għall-plural, is-sinjal għal INSETT ITIR jitqiegħed f’punti differenti fiż-żona tas-sinjali fil-livell tal-għajnejn qisu qed jitqiegħdu ħafna insetti jtiru hemmhekk. Inkella jista’ jintuża s-sinjal għal ĦAFNA wara s-sinjal għal INSETT ITIR.

ThE sign for FLYING INSECT is made with one hand in an F shape with the palm facing sideways and the hand raised above head level. The hand makes a small circular movement in the same place.
